The first module of the “Educate for the Future” Project began.

In August, Asociación Manos Amigas with the support and sponsorship of the Simán Suárez Family, started Module I of the “Educate for the Future” Project – Training in Cosmetology; where 25 participants delved into the different objectives of the project, the topics and workshops they will receive to specialize in the field.

In the first classes they learned and developed techniques on hair washing, drying and ironing, content of the Hair Theory. Each beneficiary received a kit of materials and the necessary equipment to be able to learn and develop the skills in the best way within the workshop.

In the Textile Project, carried out with the support of TELUS International, an Operation and Marketing Plan for textile products (aprons, sublimated, children’s games in fabric) was developed. At the same time, some project participants were identified who meet the ideal profile for entrepreneurship. These people will be selected to work together with Manos Amigas.

Also, during the month of August, in mutual support and work with the AGAPE Association of El Salvador, non-perishable food, cookies and grains were delivered to: Los Palones Community, a School in Comasagua, La Libertad, Mizata Community, Arcos del Espino, Usulután, among others.

In conjunction with Pozuelo, cookies were delivered to communities in the municipalities of Tacuba, Comasagua, El Espino and Miraflores.
